As Jeff was in the USA seeking help for Grant's medical issues it
became apparent that it would have to be the Lord to orchestrate the way for
Jeff to make it back for Jordan's graduation. In an amazing way it all
worked out. 5 days before Jordan graduated Jeff was able to surprise Jordan
and Lindsay with his arrival. Lots of joyful tears! The graduation
ceremony (designed by the class) was touching and meaningful. It was a
wonderful celebration of the past, present and bright future of each of the
graduates.
Surprise #2

There were two reasons why Jeff's return for Jordan's graduation
was questionable. One was the finances to make the trip. The other was
Grant's health being in a position where he could remain Stateside until we
were together again as a family. The Lord led some good people to care for
the financial needs and undertook to enable Grant the strength to not only
remain Stateside but also to meet us on the return trip back! The second
part of the surprise for Jordan and Lindsay was Grant's arrival in Hawaii.
It had been Jordan's desire to stop and spend a few days in Honolulu before
returning back to the States. Not only did he get Hawaii but he got his
brother too! The reunion was sweet. Joy had been separated from Grant for
6 weeks and was thrilled as well! It has been wonderful to be together
again as a family unit! Thanks to all who prayed for this to happen!
Prayer Needs
- The Ryder family has many adjustments to undergo in the next few weeks.
- Pray for the clear direction from the Lord regarding where we should locate.
This decision has some broad ramifications.
- Pray for Jordan as he seeks the Lord for his future.
- Pray for Grant. He has improved some but has a long way to go before he
will be a normal, healthy 16 year old young man again. Recovery from
Dysautonomia is a slow process. Pray he'll remain encouraged.
