Time flies...when your'e having fun

1983- Engaged with plans of a missionary career together

February 2006- To the next step in our missionary career.

Wow, talk about time travel! What a journey the 23 years has been. It has taken us from our dating days, through additional training with New Tribes Mission, a year of teaching at one of the training institutes then onto to Papua New Guinea. There, we've spent 15 and a half years devoted to the ministry in the tribe. The last 3 and a half actively involved in many aspects at our mission school. My, the memories we've shared together! Now, with kids growing older we are looking at where the next phase of this missionary journey will take us. We have some options presented to us and seeking the Lord for clear direction. Our hearts are considering what our role should be in preparing and challenging the next generation of missionaries. We consider you a part of all that we have accomplished over the years. We look forward to future journeys. Thank you for traveling with us!

Opportunities abound as time unfolds

The Lord is providing many opportunities to represent the cause of Christ these days. A few weeks back, a young woman accepted the Lord in prayer around our dining room table. Our interaction with the college age young adults in the area continues to excite us as we see the Lord working in the hearts and lives of these young people. The month of March is full with traveling and teaching opportunities. Several church meetings are planned and Jeff will be teaching a course at New Tribes Bible Institute later this month. We'd appreciate your prayers with us as we are involved in each endeavor.

Prayer Needs

  • After a bad bout with chest colds our family is doing well. It's good to feel healthy again.
  • Rejoice with us in that Jordan is doing well at New Tribes Bible Institute and is enjoying it.
  • Pray for safe travel and quality speaking opportunities this month.
  • The Malaumanda church has had no missionary presence for the past few months. Pray they will continue to be faithful to meet together at church and in homes for Bible study.
  • There continues to be a huge need for missionary personnel in Papua New Guinea. Church planting missionaries in the tribes, teachers at the mission school, dorm parents, CPAs, builders, pilots, mechanics, and administrative positions all have vacancies.
